ORTHO-BIONOMY
MSc, DRM, ARM, Advanced Practitioner & Registered Instructor of Ortho-Bionomy

As a child I was always touched by stories of people who achieved their goals when all the odds were against them achieving anything. People who didn’t just accept the ultimatum that was handed down to them. These stories sowed the seed of my future career, though it took time for it to evolve. It wasn’t until I came to Australia that I had the opportunity to water the seed and let it grow.

After becoming a Remedial Massage Therapist, it didn’t take long for me to realise I wanted to be able to do more. When I learned of Ortho-Bionomy, I felt I had found the niche I was looking for. I was attracted to the principles of “less is more”, “move away from pain”, working with the body, respecting and working with the intelligence of the client’s body versus imposing some external view. I am fascinated to watch these principles come alive in life as well as in the body. It gives me great joy to watch someone walk out of the clinic feeling and looking different from when they walked in.

I see that under all the things that Ortho-Bionomy does, the underpinning is
to help people grow in awareness so that they see the options that are available to them and to be able to make a choice based on their awareness.
