Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder
ADHD stands for Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder. Common symptoms of this disorder include poor concentration, hyperactivity, short attention spans, restlessness and impulsiveness. ADHD affects children primarily but it can continue on into adulthood. Treatment involves medication, behavioral therapy, and counseling.
